To qualify as a member of the Ibstock and Heather First Responder Scheme you should;

Be over 18 years of age and under 70 years.

Hold a full driving licence.

Have access to a car when on call.

Comply with CRB checks.

Be Physically able to carry out the role.

Pass a final assessment after full training.

Commit to Continuing Development.

Finally, you should be able to commit to at least one four hour period of duty, or evening per week on a rota. Obviously, the more Responders that the scheme has, the less you will need to do! We will be aiming for approximately ten to fifteen CFR's as a minimum to effectively staff the scheme.
